The Community Wellbeing Team at West Oxfordshire District Council are passionate about enabling people to be more active, to have the confidence to get out walking and enjoy the outdoors in a safe way. To do this we need people to share their enthusiasm for the benefits of walking with others in their community by leading walks in their local area. We want everyone to have access to a short, friendly group walk within easy reach of where they live to help them become and stay healthy.
We would like to invite you to participate in our next FREE Wellbeing Walk Leader Training on Tues 14th May 09:00 – 12:00 starting from Witney Artificial Turf Pitch, Gordon Way, Witney OX28 4EH. It will be led by a Ramblers qualified trainer in a fun and relaxed environment. For more details and to register please contact Jenny Bennett on 01993 861564 or community.wellbeing@westoxon.gov.uk
